Multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacterial infections, including Enterobacterales, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Acinetobacter baumannii, are causing significant global morbidity and mortality. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a significant concern, leading to the development of new diagnostic technologies and the licensing of multiple antibiotics to address these challenging infections.
